Die Wissenschaftsphilosophie: Das Erbe des Wiener Kreises

The project will be implemented in the form of six-month research stay at Institut Wiener Kreis and Institute für Philosophie, Universität Wien under the supervision of prof. Friedrich Stadler. The project main objective is the preparation for habilitation in Philosophy and History of Science. Generally the research will deal with the ideas and legacy of the Vienna Circle, both in the historiographical perspective and in the context of current debates in the philosophy of science. Particularly it will focus on the following topics: 1) Principles of the logical empiricism and its transformation 2) Philosophy of mathematics in the Vienna Circle 3) Conceptions of logic and semantics in the Vienna Circle 4) Wittgenstein’s influence upon the Vienna Circle.
