We would like to invite you to a series of interdisciplinary lectures and discussions with doc. Miroslav Holeček titled “Philosophical Problems of Modern Physics”. In the winter semester of 2023, three lectures on the topic “Physics and Information” will take place at the Department of Philosophy (Sedláčkova 19, RJ209):
1) October 13, 10:30-12:00: The Strange World of Quantum Mechanics,
2) November 3, 10:30-12:30: Entropy and Maxwell’s Demon,
3) December 1, 10:30-12:30: Semantic Information and the Description of Life.
