The Conception of Synthetic Mind

The presentation focuses on dissertation entitled Conception of a Synthetic Mind. The mail goal of dissertation is to propose a complex new-coined conception of the mind and most notably its perceptive processes. Presentation discusses basic principles behind the proposed cognitive architecture CSM – and outlines its preliminary scheme. The CSM architecture should be thought of as functional model of mind (or its selected aspects). It can be seen as a species of the representational theory of mind as well as the cognitive model, with possible computational implementation that is to be used in real-world applications such as artificial vision, robotics, or cognitive modelling.
