Performativity, Narrativity, Descriptivity

The Department of Philosophy at the University of West Bohemia, the Society for Aesthetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Slovak Association for Aesthetics invite you to the international aesthetic conference “Performativity, Narrativity, Descriptivity“, which will take place from October 25 to 26, 2023. The conference will focus on exploring the nature and relationship of three significant dimensions of the experience of artworks, or their significance in non-artistic aesthetic experience: narrativity as the articulation of the story, performativity as the creation of a situation or the realization of a process, and idea, and descriptivity as the capture of the characteristics of the object or environment.
