The Boundaries of Love

In 2022, the film was screened at the Pilsen Finale Festival, where it received the Student Jury Award for Best Feature Film. The film follows a young couple who decide to experiment with the idea of an open relationship. It opens up the themes of honesty, trust and sexual freedom. The director makes his intentions clear in a manifesto called New Czech Intimacy, which verbalizes the desire to breathe new life into Czech film and raise it to a world level. He rejects mindless copying of already established structures and genres. On the contrary, it encourages the exploration of themes often neglected in the Czech Republic.
