Marxist-Feminist Analysis of the film Alien

This short lecture will analyse the first four Alien films (Alien, Aliens, Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection) through a Marxist and feminist lens. In addition to all sorts of spoilers for these films, serious themes of abortion politics, alienation, rape, motherhood, gender, and the capitalist exploitation of nature will be explored.
